About Us

Our philosophy

"We really want our dogs to work with joy and motivation without losing any technical accuracy.  We base our future obedience on a solid foundation including play, body awareness, release cue and impulse control.
Our training is based on a lot of rewards and varied trainings ideas. We want the dog to have a thorough understanding of the exercises without worrying about making mistakes.
The aim is to go into a competition with a partner who feels safe and happy and can confidently complete all the exercises."

Shauna

Shauna has been involved in obedience since 2005.
She was Bavarian Champion with her australian shepherd Shadow and they also went on to compete in several national championships.
With Ced, her border collie, Shauna has won the Bavarian Championships many times and shown excellent results in German Championships and qualification rounds for the world championships. These include German Champion, German vice champion and several third places.
Shauna and Ced went on to compete four consecutive times in the FCI world championship for Team Germany. They twice won the team silver medal, had an individual 3rd place on pre-final day and were twice in the top 10 in the final. Ced was retired from competitions in 2019.
Her young dog Miff is working in class 3. He won the European Open 2020 and the German Championships 2021 and qualified for the world championships 2021 in Switzerland. He won the qualifying round as 1/100 and came tenth in the final.
Since Cla-Ffi left Obedience, Shauna has also been competing with Elly. They scored second place at the European Open 2020 and came tenth at the German Championships 2021.
Shauna is a qualified trainer under §11 of the German protection of animals act and has achieved the British Kennel Clubs Accredited Instructor qualification at advanced level.
Shauna has been teaching voluntarily in dog clubs since 2008.

Cla-Ffi

Cla-Ffi and her terrier Buddy (now 13) were mostly involved in agility, even winning one German Junior Championship. Buddy was always up for a surprise in obedience competitions, but was still able to win several national junior titles in classes 1 and 2!
With her border collie Elly she has won the Bavarian and German Junior Championships in class 3.
In 2018 Elly was 4th at the German championships and qualified to take part in the world championships in the Netherlands.
Cla-Ffi has been teaching voluntarily in a dog club since 2012.
Sadly the growing workload from her degree means she can no longer invest the time and energy she would like in obedience training. Therefore she has made the difficult decision to withdraw from obedience with Elly.
